*Facilitating an atmosphere of proper training and teaching enhanced by careful observation through workshops, lectures, performances and classes

*Integrating dancers and non-dancers in a community
that encourages artistic growth and movement


The community of Pensacola was host to a very successful first year revival of the National Dance Week celebration in April 2006. From the Kick Off Party at the Belmont Arts Center, with vendors, amazing food, giveaways and performances, to free dance classes where everyone had the chance to take that class they have always wanted, to the standing room only
"Dance Experience" held at PJC Ashmore Auditorium, each event was a tremendous success.

Artistic Directors and dancers from the Northwest Florida area came together to give Pensacola an evening of dance that you were glad you didn’t miss, or kicking yourself if you did!

Well, it’s time for you to mark your daytimer and start counting down to National Dance Week 2007. The events will be held April 20th-29th at various locations throughout the Pensacola area. These tens days will be packed with events for the whole family to participate in and enjoy.  Last year, all of the events were free thanks to the generosity of our sponsors/supporters.
